Hidden Gems Montessori is Directed by an AMS certified Montessori guide with a Master Degree in Early Childhood Education and over 12 years of experience supporting children's growth and development. Our curriculum is Montessori, child centered and focuses on respect for the child and fostering a love for education in our children. We are an AMS member school & we are passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.
We also offer workshops for parents to introduce and share the Montessori philosophy.

Is this a daycare?
No, Hidden Gems Montessori is an educational micro school built around authentic Montessori principles and purposeful learning experiences.
When does preschool start? Can I enroll mid-year?
We have a 10-month school year (September -June) and a 2-month summer camp (July-August). If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-year. Please call us to see if we have any spots available.
How old does my child need to be to attend?
Preschool classes are for children who are ages 2.5-6 ("independent almost-3-year-olds") by Sep. 1. Summer camp is for children who are ages 3-8 by July 1.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes. If you have any questions about whether or not your child is ready, feel free to give us a call. We have a “How To Potty Train” your child handout we can give you. It’s helped many preschool moms quickly potty train their kids. We’re here to help!
Does my child need a diagnosis to attend?
No. We welcome children with different learning styles and developmental needs. Families are encouraged to discuss individual circumstances during the tour.
What makes this different from other Montessori programs?
The school is led by an Accredited AMS Director and follows authentic Montessori practices rather than simply using the Montessori name.
What if my child has food restrictions?
No worries. We ask families to bring in their own snacks, and we create nut-free classrooms any time a child’s allergy is severe enough to require an epi pen.
How many students do you have per class?
We have the smallest class sizes in town so your child gets lots of 1-on-1 time. We only have 7 students per class.
Can I visit before deciding?
Absolutely. Booking a tour is the best way to see whether the environment is right for your child. You can book a tour here.
